
Big Ten Releases Michigan's Conference Assignments for 2025-26

ROSEMONT, Ill. -- In conjunction with the Big Ten Conference, the University of Michigan women's basketball program announced Wednesday (April 30) the home and away designations for the upcoming 2025-26 conference season. The conference season will still consist of 18 games.
Each team will play 16 single-game opponents (eight home/eight away) and one home and away opponent. Michigan will face Michigan State in its one home-and-home series.
U-M's home opponents are Illinois, Maryland, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Purdue, Wisconsin, UCLA and USC. Michigan will be on the road for games at Indiana, Iowa, MSU, Northwestern, Ohio State, Penn State, Rutgers, Washington and Oregon.
Michigan is coming off its seventh straight NCAA Tournament berth in 2024-25, winning 23 games and reaching the second round of the NCAA Tournament. J. Ira and Nicki Harris Family Head women's basketball coach Kim Barnes Arico became the all-time winningest coach in Michigan basketball history and relied on a freshman-heavy lineup to finish fifth in the Big Ten with 11 victories. U-M welcomes back a trio of starters in Olivia Olson (16.3 ppg, 5.3 rpg), Syla Swords (16.0 ppg, 6.2 rpg) and Mila Holloway (9.8 ppg, 4.4 apg), along with six other Wolverines who saw the floor last season.
