
Maize and Blue Sets Three Top-10 Program Marks at Duke Twilight

DURHAM, N.C. -- The University of Michigan men's track and field team closed out its regular season road slate on Sunday (May 4) at the Duke Twilight, setting a trio of top-10 program marks at Morris Williams Stadium.
Miles Brown (1:48.50) and John O'Reilly (1:48.52) posted season-best times in the 800-meter run to finish third and fourth, respectively. Kepler Huntress placed 11th with a time of 1:51.02.
In the 1,500-meter run, Aiden Sullivan posted a personal-best time of 3:40.80 to finish 14th and come in at No. 7 on the program performers list. Riley Flemington placed 18th with a season-best time of 3:42.54.
The 4x400-meter relay team of Lawrence Gilliam, Krish Gupta, O'Reilly and Brown finished first with a season-best performance of 3:06.92 for the No. 5 time on the program performers list.
Liam Kinney cleared a personal best 5.11 meters (16 feet, 9.25 inches) to finish second in the pole vault and crack the program performers list at No. 10.
A trio of Wolverines finished in the top 10 of the shot put, with Aiden Felty's third-place finish and season-best mark of 17.94m (58-10.25) leading the contingent. Josh Huisman placed fifth (17.73m/58-2.0) and Zane Forist placed seventh (17.64m/57-10.5).
Eli Winter finished third in the hammer throw with a mark of 64.72m (212-4), while Forist won the discus throw with a mark of 56.41m (185-1). Tianhao Wei won the triple jump with a season-best mark of 15.64m (51-3.75).
The Wolverines will return to Ann Arbor to host their lone home meet of the outdoor season, the Len Paddock Open, on Friday (May 9) at U-M Track and Field Stadium.
