
Eleven Wolverines Receive CRCA Scholar-Athlete Recognition

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Following a 2025 season that included a top-12 national finish at the NCAA Championships, the University of Michigan rowing program saw 11 of its student-athletes honored by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association as Scholar-Athletes on Tuesday (June 17).
U-M's 11 scholar-athletes include: Autumn Crowe (movement science), Katie Easton (public health), Gretel Ham (political science), Grace Hammis (English), Isabela Pimentel (business administration), Gracie Landefeld (industrial and operations engineering), Madeleine Lauriault (political science and economics), Amy Newton (undeclared), Logan Roeder (psychology), Carla Russell (applied exercise science), Leia Till (movement science).
To earn CRCA Scholar-Athlete distinction, a student must be in her second, third, or fourth year of eligibility, have a 3.5 cumulative grade-point average or higher, and compete in an NCAA/IRA championship boat (1V4, 2V8, 1V8) for a minimum of 75 percent of the spring season. An athlete may also meet that final criteria point by being in an NCAA/IRA Championship boat for the conference championship weekend.
Till won the honor four times at Virginia, making this her fifth career honor. Easton and Landefeld have earned CRCA academic honors three times each. Lauriault and Roeder have now received the honor twice.
