ROSEMONT, Ill. -- The University of Michigan women's lacrosse team placed eight student-athletes on All-Big Ten teams, the conference office announced Tuesday (April 21), matching a program record.
Seniors Grace Callahan and Jordyn Harrison, along with sophomore Emma Burke, led the way with first-team All-Big Ten honors. Emma Bradbury, Ava Class, Taylor Cullen and Calli Norris earned second-team recognition, while Elizabeth Johnson was named to the All-Freshman Team. Claire Nelson rounded out the honors as Michigan's Sportsmanship Award recipient.
Michigan's eight selections equal its program high set during the 2025 season.
Callahan earned her third conference honor and second first team nod in 2026 after she helped anchor a defense that ranks No. 17 nationally in scoring defense. The Victor, N.Y., native has started all 16 games and ties for second on the team with 22 caused turnovers, ranks third on the team with 21 ground balls and 17 draw controls. Callahan ranks 13th in the conference in caused turnovers and 26th in ground balls, and has scored one goal this season on three shots. The senior defender needs just four ground balls to tie the Michigan all-time ground balls record of 111 set by Maddie Burns in 2024. Callahan also has 77 caused turnovers and needs just three more to tie the all-time Michigan record of 80 set by Madeline Dion in 2017. Callahan also tied a Michigan single-game record with six caused turnovers against Oregon.
Harrison earns first-team honors for the first time in her career after being named to the second team in 2024. The senior defender, along with Callahan, helps anchor the top 20 scoring defense as she ranks second for the Wolverines with 22 caused turnovers and 25 ground balls. Harrison has produced six games with two or more caused turnovers, including four against Johns Hopkins and Ohio State, while picking up a career-best five ground balls against Oregon. The Livingston, N.J., native has 90 ground balls and 64 caused turnovers in her career, which include 22 ground balls and 18 caused turnovers from her single season at Richmond.
Burke also notched first-team honors for the first time in her career after being named to the second team and the All-Freshman Team in 2025. The sophomore midfielder broke the Michigan career draw controls record, as she has 278 draw control wins. Burke broke Anna Schueler's record of 239 from 2014-17. Burke ranks 12th nationally with 8.94 draws per game and ranks second in the Big Ten with 143 wins this season. Burke has had six double-digit draw control effort games and won five or more draw controls 13 times this season.
Bradbury was named to the second team for the first time in her career after having a breakout junior campaign for Michigan. The attacker leads the U-M offense with 51 points, including 37 goals and 14 assists. The Blue Bell, Pa., native carries a .797 shots on goal percentage with 55 of her 69 shots on cage; she has scored three game-winning goals this season. Bradbury has nine multi-goal games and 11 multi-point games and was named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week after she recorded nine points against USF with six goals and three assists. Additionally, she ranks 16th in the conference with her 51 points and 14th with her 37 goals.
Class was named to the second team for the second straight season after she was drafted 12th overall in the first-ever WLL College Draft. The graduate student recorded the most points in her career in her final season, as she ranks third for Michigan with 46. Class has netted 25 goals and added 21 assists to bring her career total to 104 points, becoming the 10th player in program history to eclipse 100 career points. Class has a .756 shots on goal percentage and has 12 multi-point games, including seven points against Oregon, when she tied the Michigan single-game assists record with six helpers.
Cullen rounds out the Michigan defensive honorees as she notched her first Big Ten nod in her senior season. The Vero Beach, Fla., native has notched at least one point in every game this season and had a season-best six points against USC -- four goals and two assists.
