Welcome to Crisler Center
Whether you're visiting Crisler Center for the first time or returning for another Michigan Athletics event, our goal is to provide every guest with a safe, welcoming and memorable game day experience.
This guide is designed to help you plan your visit by answering common questions about parking, tickets, accessibility, arena policies, amenities and services available before and during events.
Event Team Members are stationed throughout Crisler Center and are happy to assist you. If you need help at any time, simply ask the nearest Event Team Member or visit the Guest Services desk on the Northeast Concourse.
Know Before You Go
- Mobile Tickets: Download and save your mobile tickets before arriving.
- Bag Policy: Crisler Center has a no-bag policy, with exceptions for necessary medical and childcare items. Review the Bag Policy.
- Doors Open: Generally 60 minutes before the event; times may vary.
- Parking: Review event-specific parking information before arriving.
- Seating: Locate your entrance and seating area before arriving.

Crisler Center doors generally open 60 minutes prior to the scheduled start of the event. Entrance availability may vary depending on the event.

All bags, including purses and fanny packs, are prohibited. An exception is available for guests with necessary medical or childcare items. Approved items are inspected and tagged at the entrance.

Crisler Center is home to Michigan Volleyball, Men’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball, Wrestling and Women’s Gymnastics.

The First Aid Station is located on the Northeast Concourse at the top of the stairs. Medical personnel are also stationed throughout the arena.

- The Crisler Center concourse is fully accessible.
- Northeast and Southwest Entrances are ADA accessible.
- An elevator at the Northeast Entrance provides access to different arena levels for guests with accessibility needs.
- All Crisler Center restrooms are accessible.
- Court-level accessible restrooms are available in the North and Blavin Tunnels; see an Event Team Member for access.
- Assisted Listening Devices are available at no charge from the Guest Services desk.

Crisler Center welcomes service animals that assist guests with disabilities.
- Service dogs and trained miniature horses are permitted.
- Approved service animals in training accompanying a trainer or handler are also permitted.
- All other animals are prohibited.

- All concession and merchandise locations accept cashless payment.

Baby changing tables are available in many restrooms throughout Crisler Center.

Crisler Center maintains a no-bag policy to improve safety and expedite entry.
- All bags including purses, backpacks, fanny packs, and clear bags are prohibited.
- One appropriate-sized medically necessary or childcare bag is permitted after inspection.
- Approved medical and childcare items are searched and tagged at the solutions table at each entrance.
- All persons and permitted items are subject to inspection.
- Review the Prohibited Items list before leaving home.

- Still photography is permitted subject to event-specific restrictions.
- Video and motion-picture cameras are prohibited.
- Camera lenses longer than six (6) inches are prohibited.
- Selfie sticks, lighting equipment and camera support pods are prohibited.
- Women’s Gymnastics: Flash photography is not permitted during Women’s Gymnastics meets.

Food and beverages are available at concession locations throughout the Crisler Center concourse.
- All food and beverage transactions are cashless.
- Debit cards, credit cards and mobile payments such as Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted.
- Cash is not accepted at food and beverage locations.
- Availability and the number of open stands may vary by event.
- UMCU Block M and Winged Helmet Debit Card holders receive 10% off eligible souvenir sodas and Popped Maize when paying with an eligible card.
- Discounts are not available at autonomous checkout locations.

The University of Michigan is committed to creating a positive experience for all fans and will serve alcohol in a safe and responsible manner. As part of that commitment, all applicable state laws will be followed and the following regulatory features will be implemented:
- Alcohol sales will begin one hour before the announced start time and last until the 10-minute mark of the second half for men’s basketball games and the start of the fourth quarter for women’s basketball games, at which time sales will discontinue. Cutoff times for other events at Crisler Center will be approximately 30 minutes remaining in the event.
- In order to ensure only those 21 and over are allowed to purchase and consume alcoholic beverages, all patrons will be required to show ID at every purchase.
- A guest may only purchase or be in possession of a maximum of two alcoholic beverages at any one time. If an individual is already in possession of one beverage, they will only be permitted to purchase one additional beverage.
- Signage meeting the requirements dictated by applicable local and state regulations will be posted and will include the stated legal age for the purchase of alcoholic beverages and identification policies of the venue, drink limit, and cut-off time.
- Alcohol compliance teams will be stationed throughout the arena to encourage responsible consumption, oversee policy adherence throughout the venue, and monitor behavior.
- Alcoholic beverages will be sold at select locations throughout the arena. Water and other food items will also be available for purchase at all locations where alcohol is sold.
- Alcohol is not permitted to leave Crisler Center. Guests are not permitted to leave the venue and return on the same ticket.
- Fans are encouraged to recycle their beverage cans.
Stay in the Blue: Safe and Responsible Alcohol Consumption
- Everyone is welcome at Crisler Center. Many fans choose not to drink because of religious or cultural beliefs, being under 21, illness, family history, or being in recovery. If you choose to drink, be mindful of your behavior to create the best fan experience for all.
- If you're choosing to drink, consider using Stay in the Blue strategies such as eating protein-heavy food and hydrating. Set a drink limit using standard drinks and alternate alcohol with non-alcoholic beverages.
- Safety is U-M's top priority. Remember buzzed driving is drunk driving. Don't drink and drive. Plan ahead for your transportation needs. Have a designated sober driver or call a ride share service to help get you home safely.

Re-entry is generally not permitted.
- Guests who leave Crisler Center may not re-enter using the same ticket.
- Emergency re-entry may be approved by an Entrance Event Team Supervisor.

Michigan Athletics is committed to providing a fun, respectful, and inclusive environment for all fans, student-athletes, faculty, and staff. Participants and guests should not be subjected to harassment or intimidation or any other kind of disruptive behavior while attending Michigan Athletic Department events. Any fan who engages in disruptive behaviors -- including but not limited to appearing inebriated; entering the field of play or throwing objects in the stands or onto the field; harassing or intimidating others; or directing profane, insulting, abusive or highly critical language at another person (such as racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic or demeaning slurs) -- will be removed from the event and may face arrest and prosecution in accordance with local, state, and federal laws.
A fan's season tickets may be subject to termination if their behavior or that of the person(s) holding their ticket(s) is found to violate this code of conduct. Any fan behavior that directly or indirectly interferes with the enjoyment of the game by others or conduct of the event will be promptly addressed and may result in revocation of the ticket license and removal from the venue.

Medical assistance is available throughout Crisler Center.
- The First Aid Station is located on the Northeast Concourse at the top of the stairs.
- HVA First Response Teams are located throughout the arena.
- Emergency medical personnel and an ambulance are available during events.
- Contact the nearest Event Team Member if medical assistance is needed.

Single-occupancy gender-inclusive restrooms are available at Crisler Center.
- Locations are identified on the arena map.
- These restrooms are available to anyone requiring a private restroom.
- Misuse of these facilities is prohibited.

Guest Services and Event Team Members are available to assist guests throughout Crisler Center.
The Guest Services desk is located on the Northeast Concourse and can assist with:
- Directions and arena information
- Wheelchair assistance
- Assisted Listening Devices
- Lost and Found
- Guest concerns and feedback
- First-game certificates

A private lactation room is available on the west concourse outside Section 124.
This room includes:
- Comfortable seating
- Sink
- Changing table
- Electrical outlets for pumps

A lost child is taken to the nearest police officer, Event Team Member or Guest Services so staff can assist with reunification.

Lost items are handled through Guest Services.
- Collected items are stored at Guest Services.
- Turn found items into an Event Team Member, Police Officer, or Guest Services.
- Guests may inquire about lost items during the event or submit a Lost & Found request after an event.
- Unclaimed items are generally disposed of after two weeks.
M Den
Official University of Michigan merchandise is available at M Den locations on the Northeast Concourse and Southwest Concourse.

Event parking is generally available free of charge in the Blue Lot surrounding Crisler Center in SC4, SC5, SC6 and SC7.
Parking procedures may change when multiple Michigan Athletics events are occurring on the same day.

Michigan student season tickets are delivered digitally.
- Students should download each ticket to their phone's wallet before arriving, as cellular coverage may be limited near Michigan Athletics events.
- Students who have claimed a game should enter Crisler Center through the Maize Rage Student Entrance and present their mobile ticket for entry.
- Upon entry, students will receive a seat voucher. Student seating is distributed in the following order: student bleachers, Section 130, then upper-level student sections.
- Students wishing to sit together must enter the Maize Rage Student Entrance together.
- Student tickets may be transferred to another student or a non-student at no charge.
- Student tickets used by a non-student do not need to be validated; however, the ticket holder must still enter through the Maize Rage Student Entrance.
- The deadline to transfer a student ticket is the start of the game.

Admission Information
- Every guest, regardless of age, must have a valid ticket for entry.
- Tickets that are lost, stolen, or destroyed cannot be replaced or refunded.
- Guests should retain their mobile ticket throughout the event, as it may be needed to access certain areas or for re-entry into premium spaces.
Ticket Policies
Tickets purchased primarily for resale may be canceled at the discretion of Michigan Athletics. For complete ticket policies, transfers, and additional information, visit the Ticket Policies & Forms page. -
The University of Michigan is a tobacco-free campus. The use of all tobacco and nicotine products is prohibited throughout Crisler Center and the Stephen M. Ross Athletic Campus.
Prohibited Products Include:
- Cigarettes, cigars, pipes, and other smoking devices
- Electronic cigarettes, vapes, vaporizers, and other electronic nicotine delivery systems
- Smokeless tobacco products, including chew, snuff, snus, and hookah
Guests are expected to comply with the University's tobacco-free policy while attending all events.
