Emma Golen returns to Michigan for the 2017-18 season as the video coordinator after spending two seasons as an assistant coach and the recruiting coordinator at UMass Lowell. Golen previously held the graduate assistant position on head coach Kim Barnes Arico's staff during the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons.Â
Golen played her college ball at Harvard, earning four letters for the Crimson from 2010-13.Â
Golen was captain during her senior season (2012-13) and helped her team to a 21-9 record after averaging 4.5 points and 2.1 rebounds per game. She was named the Most Improved Player following her junior campaign where she averaged 9.2 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.
Golen, a native of Novi, Mich., attended Detroit Country Day and returns to her home state to once again work for the Wolverines. She graduated with a degree in psychology from Harvard and a master's degree in sport management from Michigan during her first stint with the Wolverines.
