Reyna Frost, a standout player at Central Michigan who spent the 2020-21 working with the Chippewas as the director of player development, joined the University of Michigan women's basketball program as a graduate manager during the spring of 2021. The 2022-23 season will be her second in the Maize and Blue.
During her playing career, Frost was named the 2019 Mid-American Conference Player of the Year, earned All-America honorable mention from the Associated Press and graduated as the school and conference leader in career rebounds with 1,526. She helped CMU to the Sweet 16 in 2018 and to three MAC titles (2017, 2018, 2019). Frost ranks in the top five in scoring at Central Michigan with 1,794 points and scored a program-record 733 points during her senior season. She was a three-time Academic All-MAC selection and was named to the 2019 Google Cloud Academic All-America third team. A three-time member of the Dean's List at CMU, she graduated with a B.S. in mathematics.
Following her graduation, Frost played from August 2019 to April 2020 for Basket Cost X L'Unicef in the A1 Italian League.
She joined the CMU women's basketball staff in advance of the 2020-21 season, helping CMU to the 2021 MAC Tournament title and an NCAA Tournament appearance. During her time as the director of player development, she helped with team travel, video breakdown, community outreach, scouting reports, position workouts, engaging with alumnae, social media and budget preparation.
During her time at Michigan, she will be pursuing a graduate degree in sport management.
