Casey Pearsall will enter her fifth season as an assistant coach for the University of Michigan women's lacrosse team in 2026 after being hired July 12, 2022. She works primarily with the Michigan offense and draw-control team.

In Pearsall's fourth season on staff, Michigan had one of the best seasons in program history, earning eight ranked wins -- including knocking off No. 3 Maryland for the first time ever, and defeating No. 5 Florida. Draw specialist Emma Burke dominated the draw control in her sophomore season under the tutelage of Pearsall, leading the Big Ten and ranking sixth nationally with 178 wins. The midfielder also ranked 12th nationally with 8.90 draw-control wins per game. Burke broke her own standing single-game and single-season draw control records, tallying 22 wins against Central Michigan, which ranked third all-time in NCAA single-game history, while her 178 wins broke her Michigan 2025 season record of 135. Burke also shattered the U-M career draw-control record this season with 313 wins, breaking Anna Schueler's record of 239 (2014-17).

Pearsall took the draw control team to new heights in 2025 as it broke its record from the previous season with 279 draw control wins. Then-freshman Emma Burke broke the single season and single game records in the circle. Burke is the second Wolverine in program history to tally 100 career draw controls in a season with 135 as she broke the U-M single-season record. She also ranked 18th nationally with 7.50 draw-control wins per game. Burke set the U-M single-game draw-control record with 17 against Eastern Michigan and tallied five games with double-digit draw wins and 15 games with four or more draw control wins.

In 2024, Pearsall helped the Wolverines to their best season in program history as they made an appearance in the NCAA Quarterfinals. Pearsall's draw team set the then-program standard with 263 draw-control wins and finished the season ranked 18th nationally with a .575 win percentage. Furthermore, senior Lily Montemarano set the Michigan single season draw control record with 114 wins and the single game draw record with 15 against Eastern Michigan.

In her first season with the Wolverines, Pearsall helped the draw control team to 251 wins with five players winning 20-or-more draw controls. The Michigan offense also scored the second-most goals in program history, while dishing out a program-best 102 assists.

Pearsall came to Ann Arbor after spending four seasons as an assistant coach at the University of Vermont, where she worked on implementing offensive strategy and concept development as well as managing the draw unit and gameday performance.

During her time with Vermont, Pearsall helped the team to its first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance in 2022 after the team went 14-4 in the regular season and won its first America East championship. In her first season, the Catamounts saw their first America East playoff berth since 2016 and Pearsall coached Vermont's first America East first team All-Conference nominee since 2015.

Along with her collegiate coaching experience, Pearsall was the head coach of 802 Lacrosse Club, leading both middle school and high school athletes. She also has spent time coaching at the high school level and various club lacrosse programs, while coaching Team Tennessee at the national tournament.

Prior to her coaching days, Pearsall was a three-time All-America honoree at Notre Dame, where she also was named to the Tewaaraton Watch List in her senior season and collected All-ACC first-team honors. Following her collegiate playing career, Pearsall played professional with the Long Island Sound in the Unites Women's Lacrosse League and with the Upstate Pride and Command in the Women's Professional Lacrosse League.
