Fran Raggi

Fran Raggi is in the midst of her first season at Michigan as an assistant coach in 2023-24. Raggi began at U-M on Oct. 23, 2023. Like all of the program's coaches, Raggi works with the entire team.

A native of Winter Park, Fla., Raggi rowed at the University of Texas, where she was named 2022 CRCA Athlete of the Year, a two-time first-team All-American (2021, '22) and a 2019 CRCA second-team All-American.

She helped the Longhorns to two team NCAA Championships and one second-place finish in her three years of competition (2019, '21-22). Raggi was a three-year varsity eight competitor who won two NCAA gold medals and one silver. At the conference level, she helped the Longhorns capture three Big 12 team championships (2019, '21, '22) while rowing in three Big 12 1V8 gold-medal-winning boats. She was the 2022 Big 12 Rower of the Year.

She earned her degree from UT in sustainability studies and geography and added a Master's degree in Finance, accruing Academic All-Big 12 in all three seasons. She was a Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) member for two years (2020-21). Raggi spent time following her graduation as a financial analyst.
