Danielle Williams is in her first year as a graduate assistant for the Wolverines in 2017-18. Williams was a two-time captain and a four-year letterwinner for the Maize and Blue from 2014-17.Â
Williams appeared in all 38 games as a senior on Michigan's WNIT Champion team, starting 21 times as U-M went 17-4 with her in the starting lineup. She averaged 1.9 points and 2.8 rebounds in 17.0 minutes per game.
She, along with Siera Thompson, graduated with the most wins in school history (89). For her career, Williams appeared in 121 games.
Williams was a three-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree and named a 2017 Big Ten Distinguished Scholar. She earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and is pursuing a master of management from the Ross School of Business.Â
