ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan women's soccer team suffered its first home loss of the season, losing a tough 1-0 match to Minnesota, the defending Big Ten Conference champion, at the Michigan Soccer Field.
The Wolverines outshot the Golden Gophers 16-9 on the game but could not get one past Minnesota keeper Dana Larson. Larson made 10 saves on the day, including some crucial stops down the stretch.
