Belkin to Appear on National Soccer Talk Show

The show, which features such soccer personalities as U.S. Men's National Team Coach Bruce Arena, Major League Soccer stars, and other U.S. Men's and Women's National Team players, is hosted by Mike Solan. Excerpts from midweek interviews are replayed on Saturday's from 4-6 p.m. on WYUR Radio (1310 AM) in Detroit.
Belkin, in her sixth season at Michigan, has guided the Wolverines to a 6-2-1 overall and 3-0-1 Big Ten Conference start. The Wolverines, ranked No. 15 in the latest NSCAA poll (Sept. 27), lead the Big Ten by one-half game as they prepare to host the Indiana Hoosiers on Friday (Oct. 1) at 4 p.m. and the Purdue Boilermakers at 1 p.m. on Sunday (Oct. 3). Next Tuesday (Oct. 5), Michigan travels to South Bend, Ind., for a top-25 battle with No. 6 Notre Dame.
In her six seasons at the helm of the Wolverines, Belkin has advanced the program from its club roots to a nationally recognized team which won the 1997 Big Ten Tournament and has appeared in the last two NCAA Tournaments.
