KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- The University of Michigan women's track and field team competed at the 34th annual Sea Ray Relays, hosted by the University of Tennessee on Thursday through Saturday (April 13-15). The event was not scored, but the Wolverines turned in some good efforts.

The top Michigan performance of the relays came from Julie Froud (St. Marys, Ontario/St. Marys D.C.V.I.), who placed third in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 17:45.49. Other top eight-finishes included Brandi Bentley (Detroit, Mich./Marian HS), who came in fifth in the long jump (20-03); Tamika Craig (Inkster, Mich./Inkster HS), who was sixth in the 400-meter hurdles (1:01.24); and Erin White (Battle Creek, Mich./Central HS), who came in seventh in 3,000-meter run (10:12.58).

The Maize and Blue will return to action next Saturday (April 22) at the Ohio State Quadrangular in Columbus, Ohio.
