ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Three members of the University of Michigan men's tennis team earned straight-set victories in the first round of singles qualifying at the 2005 Wilson/ITA Midwest Regional Championships Thursday afternoon (Oct. 20) at the Varsity Tennis Center.
Junior Steve Peretz (Brooklyn, N.Y./The Dwight School) and freshmen Peter Aarts (Pound Ridge, N.Y./Fox Lane HS) and Scott Bruckmann (Sarasota, Fla./Saint Stephens Episcopal School) all advanced to the second round of the 64-player draw with their wins.
