Parker, Feldkamp Regionally Qualify at Mt. SAC Relays

WALNUT, Calif. -- Two members of the University of Michigan women's track and field team -- fifth-year senior Andrea Parker (Livonia, Mich./Stevenson) and senior/junior Theresa Feldkamp (Lorain, Ohio/Amherst Steele) -- hit NCAA Regional qualifying standards Friday (April 15) at the Mt. SAC Relays at Hilmer Lodge Stadium.
Parker crossed eighth in the 5,000-meter run in a time of 16:46.64, beating her previous fastest time -- a record she set in 2002 -- by 9.82 seconds. Feldkamp regionally qualified in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:25.90, good for 19th place.
The Wolverines will compete in the finale of the Mt. SAC Relays on Sunday (April 17).
