Wolverines Race at Ohio State in Fall Action

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The University of Michigan rowing team continued fall action with a scrimmage at Ohio State on Sunday (Oct. 3) at Ohio State's Scioto River at Griggs Reservoir.
Michigan boated four eights and a four, while the Buckeyes raced with three eights. U-M's top two boats raced in the first flight against Ohio state's top two boats, while U-M's third and four eight and the four raced in the second flight against Ohio State's third eight. The teams raced in four flights and did four pieces at a 4x2000m. The first piece was a 22 spm with the second and third at 24 spm and the fourth at 26 spm.
The Wolverines will next race on Oct. 17 when they head to the Head of Lake Leelanau in Leelanau, Mich., before coming home to host the Belleville Classic on Nov. 13. The U-M novice team will take on Michigan State in a fall scrimmage on Oct. 30 in East Lansing, Mich.
