Series Notes
Michigan improves to 64-28-4 against Ferris State. U-M is 39-10-0 against the Bulldogs in Ann Arbor.
Brandon Burlon, Chris Brown and Lee Moffie all registered their first career goal against the Bulldogs.
Team Notables
Michigan improves to 3-4-1 in game one of a CCHA series. The Wolverines also improved to 3-5-2 on Friday night.
Michigan improves its record to 7-2-1 in Yost Arena this season.
Michigan posted 40 shots for the eighth time this season, earning a record of 6-1-1 when doing so.
U-M is 4-6-1 when its opponents score first.

Player Notables
Lee Moffie scored his second goal of the season in the win. Moffie also had a goal in the win over Colorado College on Dec. 30.
Brandon Burlon set a single-season career high for points (16) and tied a career high in goals (5) with his second-period marker.
Chris Brown scored his third goal of the season and first since Nov. 26, 2010, with his second-period tally. The marker proved to be his first game-winner of the season and fifth of his career.
Matt Rust picked up his 13th assist of the season, moving him to second on the team in that category. Carl Hagelin leads U-M with 16 helpers.
A.J. Treais had his seventh assist of the season, which is a single-season career high. His 13 points tie his freshman season mark.
Shawn Hunwick, who had 29 saves, improved his record to 7-4-4 in 2010-11. It also was Hunwick's first win against Ferris State in his career.
