FULLERTON, Calif. -- Due to heavy rain in the Fullerton, Calif., area, the University of Michigan softball team's games against Virginia and DePaul were cancelled on Saturday (March 17).
The games will not be rescheduled. Michigan played three games in the Judi Garman Classic before rain and unplayable field conditions forced the cancellation of today's games.
Michigan will open up the Big Ten season against Penn State at home next weekend (March 24-25). The teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday (March 24), beginning at 1 p.m. The series will wrap up on Sunday (March 25) with a single game at 1 p.m.
