MADISON, Wis. -- The University of Michigan softball team's game against Wisconsin has been cancelled due to rain in the area on Sunday (May 6). The game will not be made up, marking the first conference game lost to weather this season for U-M.
The 23rd-ranked Wolverines (36-15, 15-5 Big Ten), who swept the Badgers in a doubleheader yesterday, 5-1 and 7-5, will return home to host Purdue in a three-game series at the Wilpon Complex, home of Alumni Field. The teams will play a 6 p.m. single game Friday (May 11) on the Big Ten Network before closing the regular season with a doubleheader Saturday (May 12), with games at noon and 3 p.m.
