Lauren Sweet batted 3-for-4 and collected her fifth multi-hit game of the season. It marked the first time she recorded three hits in a game.
Sweet collected her seventh multi-RBI game of the season, tied for fourth-most on the team.
Sweet is now batting .444 (20-for-45) during Big Ten play. Her 25 RBI during conference play are the second-most on the team.
Sierra Romero extended her team-leading reached-base streak to 27 games with a walk in the seventh inning.
Caitlin Blanchard extended her reached-base streak to 20 games.
Brandi Virgil pinch ran in the third inning, and Mary Sbonek entered the game as a pinch runner in the fourth inning.
Jaclyn Crummey pinch hit in the seventh inning and had a leadoff walk. She leads the Wolverines with three pinch-hit walks.
Kelsey Susalla entered the game as a pinch hitter in the sixth inning. She flew out but is batting .533 (8-for-15) as a pinch hitter this season.
Taylor Hasselbach pinch hit in the sixth inning.
Olivia Richvalsky entered as a defensive replacement leftfield in the seventh inning and recorded one putout, the first of her career.
The crowd of 1,840 was the third-most ever at a game at Bowlin Stadium.
With the win, U-M has not lost consecutive games this season, and the Wolverines improved to 8-7 all-time against Nebraska.
