• Michigan secured a top-10 finish at the NCAA Championships for the 14th consecutive season.
• This is U-M's third straight top-five finish. Over that stretch, U-M has finished first (2013), fourth (2014) and fifth (2012).
• Since winning the national title in 1995, only three other U-M teams have finished in the top four at the NCAA Championships: 1996 (third), 2013 (first) and 2014 (fourth).
• Twelve different swimmers earned at least one NCAA All-America honor during the three-day meet. U-M had 13 swimmers (plus three relay alternates) at the meet.
• Dylan Bosch is the 108th swimmer in program history to win a national title.
• Wins for Dylan Bosch and Connor Jaeger give U-M 165 national titles (individual, diving and relay). Michigan has crowned at least one individual national champion in 23 of the last 27 NCAA Championships.
• With Connor Jaeger's win, Michigan swimmers have won the national title in the 1,650-yard freestyle six times.
• Dylan Bosch's win in the 200-yard butterfly gives U-M a total of 13 in that event. He is the first Michigan swimmer to win a national title in that event since Davis Tarwater won the second of his two national titles in 2005-06.
• Dylan Bosch shaved more than a second off his career-best time (1:40.37 to 1:39.33).
• According to USA Swimming Statistics, Connor Jaeger swam the 1,650-yard freestyle for only the ninth time in his career. He won national championships in two of those races.
• Connor Jaeger set a new pool record in the 1,650-yard freestyle, breaking the previous record of 14:29.85 set by Erik Vendt (USC). Dylan Bosch also set a new pool record that was previously held by Michael Phelps (1:39.70).
• Richard Funk's swim in the preliminaries was also a new career best. His previous best was 1:53.32, set in 2013.
• Sean Ryan was nearly eight seconds faster in the 1,650-yard freestyle on Saturday (14:50.61) than he was in the same race at the Big Ten Championships last month (14:58.27). He finished 10th -- nine spots ahead of his projected position on the psych sheet (19th).
• Ryutaro Kamiya was four hundredths-of-a-second faster in the 200-yard backstroke on Saturday than he was in the same event last year (1:42.43 in 2014; 1:42.47 in 2013). Despite the faster time, the event as a whole was much faster than last year. He took 23rd on Saturday compared to 19th in 2013.
• Bruno Ortiz was the team's top seed coming into the 100-yard freestyle (42.67). Assuming he would have swum the same time, he would have finished 20th on Saturday.
• The meet will be shown in condensed form on Wednesday, April 9, at 9 p.m. EDT on ESPNU.
