ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan ice hockey team announced today (Monday, Sept. 8) that it will wear redesigned blue and white uniforms beginning with the upcoming 2014-15 campaign. Michigan's maize uniforms will remain largely unchanged.

In addition, the team announced that it will wear a commemorative set of jerseys for the 2015 Hockey City Classic on Feb. 7 at Soldier Field in Chicago. The design for these jerseys will be revealed closer to the date of the game.
The redesigned home and road jerseys will feature the famous block M logo that Michigan has worn on its sweaters in eight of the 10 decades the program has been in existence. Michigan last wore the block M on its home white jerseys during the 2007-08 season, and on its road blue jerseys during the 2011-12 season.
Replicas of the new Michigan Hockey jerseys will be available at M-Den locations (mden.com) this fall.
