What attracted you to the University of Michigan?
"Michigan is a school where I can play the sport I love in a high-quality program while getting an education at a top university. I also love the big school atmosphere and the vast amount of school spirit."
What are your thoughts about continuing to help Michigan build its women's lacrosse program?
"I go to a new high school and as a freshman we had only three grades in the school. I was a member of the first varsity lacrosse team. It was exciting to build traditions and in the third year of our varsity program help bring us to the Maryland 2A-3A state championship game. I am thrilled with the opportunity to play a role in building the Michigan lacrosse program."
What do you like about Michigan/Ann Arbor from what you've seen so far?
"I love the college town atmosphere and how everyone in Ann Arbor embodies the spirit and enthusiasm of the university."
What is your favorite lacrosse moment of all-time?
"My favorite lacrosse memory of all-time is beating perennial-power Century and going to the state finals my junior year in high school. Going to states was such a unique experience and it was a great accomplishment knowing we made it as far as we possibly could."
How did you first get involved in lacrosse?
"My dad played lacrosse growing up in Syracuse and through college so he was always encouraging my siblings and me to play. In third grade, I realized that ballet and soccer were not my sports so I decided to try lacrosse -- I have loved the game ever since!"
Do you have any talents or hobbies that you're willing to share? If so, please explain.
"Unfortunately, I do not have any cool talents, but as a hobby I coach girl's recreation lacrosse and volunteer in my community."
Who is your role model, and why?
"My role model is my oldest sister Kelsey. I admire her dedication, discipline, and loving personality. I aspire to emulate her work ethic and toughness."
What do you enjoy doing when you're not playing lacrosse?
"When I'm not playing lacrosse I like to play field hockey and spend time with my family, friends and dogs. I also enjoy participating in my school's SGA and FCA."
