ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan men's soccer coaching staff will hold three different summer camps throughout late June and early July -- the Commuter Camp (June 29-July 3), the Summer Prospect Camp (July 8-10), and the Residential Camp (July 12-16).
The Commuter Camp is open to individual players ages 6-13 and costs $350 per camper, while the Prospect Camp is open to boys entering grades 9-12 and costs $400 per camper.
The Residential Camp is open to boys ages 10-16. The cost for residents is $625 per camper, while the cost for commuters is $450 per camper. The Residential Camp is the only camp where housing is provided, but staying in housing is not required.
The Commuter Camp provides campers with a fun, social, and educational environment where they can improve on basic technique and learn more advanced skills from current Michigan coaches and players.
The Prospect camp is for the athlete interested in gaining first-hand experience of what it is like to train at the collegiate level while more about the recruiting process. This camp will provide a serious atmosphere that includes on-field training, conditioning, and lectures regarding the recruiting process with a focus on both academics and athletics.
The Residential Camp provides intensive individualized coaching for the intermediate and advanced players. The camp is designed to strengthen playing ideas, in-game tactics, and training techniques. Housing and meals will be provided in the University of Michigan's South Quadrangle Residence Hall.
