Michigan leads Indiana 76-28 in the all-time series between the programs. U-M has won six straight games against the Hoosiers.
The Wolverines boast 20 run-rule wins this season, including six of their last seven Big Ten games.
Tonight's win was Michigan's 500th at Alumni Field. The Wolverines own a 500-132-1 record at Alumni Field since its 1982 opening.
Sophomore Megan Betsa owns eight double-digit strikeout performance this season. She also earned her 200th season strikeout. Betsa has only allowed two runs in the past 24 innings pitched.
Junior Sierra Romero upped her career runs batted in total to 199. She is just one shy of reaching the second spot among U-M's all-time leaders in the category, currently held by Amanda Chidester (200, 2009-12).
Four Wolverines recorded multi-RBI efforts. Junior Sierra Lawrence leads U-M with 14 multi-RBI games this season.
Romero also upped her career home run tally to 56 -- two shy of the second spot among U-M's leaders in the category, currently held by Dorian Shaw (58, 2008-11).
Freshman Aidan Falk tallied a career-high three hits on the night. She now boasts eight multi-hit games this season.
Sophomore Abby Ramirez extended her hitting streak to a career-long nine games. She also owns a eight-game hit streak this season.
