• Michigan improved to 10-2 in the all-time series against Maryland.

• The Wolverines boast 22 run-rule wins this season, including eight of their last 12 Big Ten games.

• Michigan has posted double-digit hits in 20 games this season.

• With her fourth-inning home run, junior Sierra Romero upped her career home run total to 58, moving into second place among U-M's all-time leaders in the category. She is tied with Dorian Shaw (2008-11). She is four shy of program record holder Samantha Findlay (62, 2005-08).

• Michigan upped its season home run tally to 95 -- just eight shy of its program-record 103 (2005).
