• Michigan improved to 2-1 in extra-inning games this season. It is also U-M's first extra-inning game since Feb. 21 vs. Davidson.
• Sophomore Carmen Benedetti extended his reached-base streak to 25 games after a walk in the first inning.
• Benedetti also drove in a pair of runs, extending his Big Ten RBI lead to 55. He also had his 22nd double of the season, also tops in the conference.
• Michigan sweeps the two-game series against Central Michigan. The Wolverines won, 5-3, on April 1 in Ann Arbor.
• Senior Eric Jacobson laid down his fifth sacrifice bunt of the season that drove in the game-winning run in the 10th inning.
• Michigan scored five of its six runs with two out in the inning.
