• Following its back-to-back 42-7 victories the past two weeks over Penn State and Rutgers, Michigan has been ranked No. 4 in the polls for two straight weeks.
• Michigan heads into the Indiana game ranked No. 4 in both the Associated Press and Amway Coaches polls.
• The Wolverines are fourth in the College Football Playoff rankings (Nov. 6).
• U-M has a 3-1 record against ranked teams this fall, defeating No. 15 Wisconsin, No. 24 Michigan State and No. 14 Penn State while falling to No. 12 Notre Dame.

• U-M returns to Michigan Stadium for a Senior Day celebration. Players' families will be honored during a pregame ceremony on the field.
• The Wolverines have won all six home games this season by at least 21 points: Western Michigan (+46), Southern Methodist (+25), Nebraska (+46), Maryland (+21), Wisconsin (+25), Penn State (+35).
• Michigan is the only team to have not surrendered 100 total points in Big Ten play. U-M has allowed 82 total points across seven contests, with the next-lowest figure being 130 points allowed (Michigan State) and the league average being 194.2 points allowed across all 14 Big Ten programs.

He totaled 260 yards and three touchdowns, marking Patterson's fifth game with three-plus touchdowns (passing or rushing) in 10 starts as a Wolverine.

• Wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones had 83 yards receiving on five catches at Rutgers, including a 32-yard strike from Patterson. Peoples-Jones has at least one catch of 20+ yards in four of the last five weeks, adding another downfield weapon for U-M. He also leads U-M with 30 receptions on the season.
• Wide receiver Nico Collins continues to put his explosive big-play ability on display. Collins had a 36-yard touchdown grab at Rutgers, marking his seventh game this season with at least one catch of 20+ yards.
• Collins also caught his third and fourth touchdown passes of the season and sits third on the roster with 26 receptions. He and Peoples-Jones (3 vs. SMU) are Michigan's two pass-catchers with multiple touchdowns in a single game this season.
• When Karan Higdon cracked the 1,000-yard rushing mark last weekend, he became the Wolverines' first running back to hit that mark since Fitzgerald Toussaint in 2011 and the first Wolverine of any kind since Denard Robinson in 2012.
• Michigan's No. 1-ranked pass defense held Rutgers' aerial attack to just 59 total yards, the fewest any team has recorded against U-M this season and the third-lowest of the Don Brown era at Michigan.
