ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The University of Michigan men's gymnastics team captured a pair of victories over No. 9 Navy and No. 14 William & Mary with a team score of 403.550 on Saturday (March 17). U-M won five-of-six team and individual events in its final road meet of the regular season.
The Wolverines (7-3) led wire-to-wire, and were boosted by a new season best on high bar (68.00). Senior Alec Krystek took his first career event title on the apparatus with a 14.20, while freshman Anthony Tawfik made his NCAA debut with a 13.75.
Other event-winning performances came from freshman Cameron Bock, who earned the title on parallel bars with a 14.30; junior Emyre Cole with a 14.40 on vault; a 14.25 from senior Dmitri Belanovski on high bar; and a 14.00 on floor exercise from freshman Jacob Moore.

With regular-season road competition now wrapped up, U-M returns to Ann Arbor for its final two home meets of the year. The Wolverines will first take on No. 8 Penn State on Saturday (March 24) at 1 p.m., in a meet that will be broadcast nationally via Big Ten Network. The regular season closes out the following Saturday (March 31), as U-M hosts UIC in a dual meet at Crisler Center.
