Ten members of the University of Michigan men's swimming and diving team will put on racing suits and go for season- and career-best times at the Michigan First Chance Meet, held this Saturday and Sunday (Feb. 23-24) at Canham Natatorium. The meet takes place at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is free.
The swimmers scheduled to race include Andrew Babyak, AJ Bornstein, David Cleason, Jared Daigle, Tim Hanson, Mason Hunter, Jeremie Luong, Ian Miskelley, Eric Storms and Leo Zabudkin. Joining that contingent will be two swimmers from Minnesota and a group from Tiffin University. There will be no team scoring.

Michigan begins the postseason with the Big Ten Championships, held next Wednesday through Saturday (Feb. 27-March 2) at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center in Iowa City, Iowa. Tickets are available through hawkeyesports.com. Preliminaries begin at 11 a.m. CST with finals following at 6:30 p.m. CST.
