» Michigan used team tallies of 298 and 297 to post a 595 36-hole total and position itself ninth after the first day of Toledo's Inverness Intercollegiate being played at the Inverness Club.
» Senior Brent Ito leads U-M after the first day as he is tied for 11th. After opening with a 74, he used a three-birdie, even-par 71 in the second round to sit just five shots back of the lead.
» Sophomore Ben Dunne tied his career low with a 72 (+1) in the first round and followed with a 74 to crack the top 20 individually as he is tied for 18th at 146.
» Michigan will play the final round with Ohio State and Michigan State off the 10th tee at 8:30 a.m.
