» Michigan opened its spring season posting a 302 team tally and is 14th after the first day of Virginia's IJGA Collegiate Invitational in Guadalajara, Mexico.
» Ashley Kim led U-M with an opening 70 (-2) and is tied for fifth overall. With the tally she has taken over the team lead with four sub-par rounds on the season.
» U-M has three freshmen in the starting five.
» The 14-team field features 12 teams ranked among the top 50 in the nation.
