• U-M has had its fair share of injuries this season and has had to adapt with a new starting lineup in all 11 matches.
• Junior Brennan Callow has gone from limited minutes to becoming a starter in the last two matches for the Maize and Blue and has stepped up to the task. The junior defender played a key role on the backline against Indiana in his first start of the season, playing all 93 minutes in the U-M victory. In his second straight start, Callow played all 110 minutes and scored the game-tying goal in the 82nd minute for the Wolverines as he headed the ball down and in off a free kick from Umar Farouk Osman. The goal was the first of his career.
• Graduate student Joel Harrison was named one of 30 candidates for the 2021 Senior CLASS Award. Harrison returned for a fifth season with the Wolverines after being a first team All-Big Ten honoree in spring 2021. The graduate defender has appeared in 36 career games with 26 starts on the back line and is currently out due to injury.
