
Bock Captures All-Around Title at Winter Cup Challenge

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- Senior Cameron Bock of the University of Michigan men's gymnastics team earned the all-around title at the USA Gymnastics-sanctioned Winter Cup Challenge on Friday (Feb. 26) at the Indiana Convention Center.
Bock took the title with an all-around mark of 84.150. He scored in the top-five on five events, highlighted by a pair of second-place finishes on pommel horse (14.300) and parallel bars (14.150) as well as third-place efforts on still rings (14.100) and vault (14.350).
He also added a fifth-place finish on high bar (13.400) and finished eighth on floor exercise (13.850).
The win is the first for Bock in senior competition. The last gymnast with Wolverine ties to win the Winter Cup all-around competition was Sam Mikulak in 2020.
Sophomore Paul Juda, placed sixth in the all-around, with his score of 79.850 supported by a 13.900 on parallel bars that was good enough for fourth place. Alum Adrian de los Angeles took seventh in the all-around with a 79.600. He scored a runner-up mark of 14.050 on floor exercise to represent his top-scoring routine on the night.
Individual event finals will be held during Session II of the Winter Cup Challenge on Sunday (April 28) at 5:30 p.m. and will be streamed live on FloGymnastics.
