
U-M to Host No. 10 Minnesota on Senior Night

» Senior Cameron Bock enters the meet as the top all-arounder in the country and is the two-time reigning Big Ten Gymnast of the Week.
» Michigan is ranked No. 2 in the Road To Nationals rankings, and holds the advantage over the Golden Gophers on every event.
» U-M will honor 10 members of the program following the meet, highlighted by its five-member senior class. The contest is the last in-person home meet of the season.

The No. 2-ranked University of Michigan men's gymnastics team wraps up the in-person home portion of the 2021 schedule on Sunday (March 14), hosting No. 10 Minnesota at 1 p.m. inside Cliff Keen Arena on Senior Day. U-M will honor 10 members of the program after the meet.
Wolverine Bites
• U-M ranks No. 1 in the country on high bar (67.067) and still rings (67.700). Additionally, U-M is No. 2 on pommel horse (66.650) and parallel bars (67.400), as well as third on floor exercise (69.033). On vault, U-M checks in at No. 6 (66.650).
• Michigan holds advantages over Minnesota in every event. The Golden Gophers' top event is parallel bars, where they rank fourth (66.013). Their top gymnast, Shane Wiskus, will not compete in the meet.
• The Maize and Blue boasts the No. 1 all-around in senior Cameron Bock and sophomore Paul Juda. Bock owns an average of 83.783, while Juda checks in at 82.962. Bock also leads the country on pommel horse (14.220) and still rings (14.200). Juda is No. 3 in the country on parallel bars (13.912) and sixth on still rings (13.850).
• Sophomore Adam Wooten ranks No. 13 in the country on high bar (13.250), while senior James Read is No. 15 on still rings (13.417). Additionally, senior Nick Guy ranks No. 17 on vault (14.250).
• Following the meet, U-M will honor 10 members of the program, highlighted by seniors Cameron Bock, Jacob Moore, James Read, Nick Guy, Anthony Tawfik and Alan Gerdov.
• Under head coach Kurt Golder, Michigan leads, 20-4, in the series with Minnesota. Last season, U-M defeated the Golden Gophers in Ann Arbor with a team score of 408.900.
