OMAHA, Neb. -- The University of Michigan men's and women's swimming program will have 17 current or former student-athletes competing in Wave II of the U.S. Olympic Trials, beginning Sunday (June 13).
Due to COVID-19 guidelines, the trials began last week with Wave I, while Wave II runs Sunday through Sunday (June 13-20).
Wave II preliminaries begin at 10 a.m. CDT with finals to follow at 7 p.m. CDT. Prelims will be streamed live at NBCOlympics.com and broadcast on delay on NBC Sports Network prior to the live broadcast of the finals on NBC.
The two top finishers in each individual event of Wave II will make the U.S. Olympic Team. The top six finishers in the 100-meter freestyle and 200-meter freestyle also will be considered for selection to fill out the 4x100-meter freestyle relay and 4x200-meter freestyle relay.
The CenturyLink Center is hosting U.S. Olympic Trials for the fourth consecutive cycle.
