ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan men's soccer team (4-1) continues its four-game homestand Monday (Sept. 6) when it hosts Loyola Chicago (2-0) at 4 p.m. at U-M Soccer Stadium.
Monday afternoon's contest will be Dollar Day, during which fans can purchase general admission tickets and select concession stand items for just $1.
Wolverine Bites
• Michigan is 1-1-1 overall on the season after falling to No. 24 Duke in a battle at U-M Soccer Stadium.
• The Wolverine defense had a solid showing on Thursday night (Sept. 2) against the Blue Devils, holding Duke to just 12 shots. Prior to the contest, Duke averaged 20.5 shots per game.
• Senior goalkeeper Owen Finnerty made a season-high five saves against the Blue Devils.
• The U-M offense is averaging 18 shots per game, while keeping the opposition to just an average of eight shots per game.
• Michigan has put 18 shots on frame this season, with Derick Broche putting two of his three attempts on net and scoring one goal. Bryce Blevins has put five of his eight shots on goal.

Michigan leads 1-0 in the all-time series
Michigan and Loyola Chicago will meet on the pitch for the first time since 2013, when U-M came away with a 5-2 victory in its season opener at U-M Soccer Stadium. Loyola will come to Ann Arbor after a Friday (Sept. 3) matchup with Northwestern. The Ramblers have started the season 2-0, having defeated DePaul and Western Michigan. In two games, Loyola has scored six goals and given up three, with Billy Hency scoring half of its goals. In net, Marcel Kampman has started both contests and made four saves.
