
Michigan Dance Team Set to Compete at UDA Nationals

The University of Michigan dance team will compete in the 2022 UCA & UDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship from Friday through Sunday (Jan. 14-16) at ESPN's Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Fla.
The Wolverines captured both the division 1A hip-hop and jazz titles during last year's virtual competition and will look to defend their crowns in person for the first time since 2020.
On Friday (Jan. 14), U-M will partake in the Game Day competition, with semifinals beginning at 12:30 p.m. The Game Day finals will be held between 2-4 p.m.
Jazz semifinals will take place on Saturday (Jan. 15) at 9:54 a.m., followed by Hip-Hop semis at 3:03 p.m.
If Michigan qualifies in one or both of Saturday's competitions, they will compete on Sunday (Jan. 16). The Jazz finals will held from 9-11:19 a.m., and the Hip-Hop finals will be contested from 12:19-2:08 p.m.
