• Michigan and Maryland are meeting for the second time this season after the Wolverines came away with a 69-49 win in College Park on Jan. 16. Michigan's home-and-home Big Ten opponents this season are Michigan State, Ohio State, Maryland, Iowa and Wisconsin. Four of those teams are in the top six of the current Big Ten standings -- No. 2 Maryland, No. 4 Ohio State, No. 5 Iowa and No. 6 Michigan State.
• Naz Hillmon became the fourth member of Michigan's 2,000-point club last time out (Feb. 13), pushing her career total to 2,004. She is fourth all-time in career scoring, with Diane Dietz (3rd, 2,076) and Hallie Thome (2nd, 2,081) just ahead of her. Hillmon also passed Trish Andrew's career record of 44 double-doubles, pushing her total to 45. Hillmon is also closing in on becoming the first player in Michigan history - man or woman - to record 2,000 points and 1,000 rebounds. She is 26 rebounds away from 1,000.

• With just over a week remaining in the regular season, the Big Ten championship and top four seeds are still up for grabs. With one more win, Michigan can clinch a top-five seed for the upcoming Big Ten Tournament.
• Michigan has several ties to Maryland, with freshman Taylor Gibson hailing from Upper Marlboro and director of operations Amy Mulligan hailing from Annapolis. Mulligan is a 2003 graduate of Maryland, earning a degree in journalism and working in the athletic department as a student.
