DURHAM, N.C. -- The University of Michigan softball team has added a road game at Elon at 4:30 p.m. on Monday (Feb. 28) at Hunt Softball Park in Elon, N.C. Admission is free at Hunt Park, and the game will be streamed live on FloSoftball.com.
The schedule addition follows Thursday night's (Feb. 24) cancellation against Army West Point in U-M's Duke Invitational opener. The Wolverines will play the rest of their tournament games as scheduled, kicking off with a 4 p.m. slate against Northern Kentucky and a 7 p.m. game against No. 13 Duke today (Friday, Feb. 25) at Duke Softball Stadium. Michigan will play the same two teams on Saturday (Feb. 26) as part of its 10-game, nine-day spring-break trip.
Elon owns a 7-3 record after dropping a close 5-4 decision at Duke Wednesday afternoon (Feb. 23). The Phoenix will host St. Bonaventure for a three-game set this weekend before welcoming Michigan.

Michigan will not play its scheduled Duke Invitational opener against Army West Point on Thursday evening (Feb. 24) after travel delays pushed the Wolverines' arrival in North Carolina to within 90 minutes of game time. There are no current plans to reschedule it.
Thursday's slate was added yesterday as part of a tournament schedule reshuffling due to anticipated inclement weather on Sunday (Feb. 27). Michigan will resume action as scheduled and open weekend play against Northern Kentucky at 4 p.m. and No. 13 Duke at 7 p.m. tomorrow (Friday, Feb. 25).
