Wolverine Bites
• The trio of seniors helped Michigan to its first-ever national title in 2021 as well as won three Big Ten regular-season championships and one Big Ten Championship. Furthermore, the class led Michigan to breaking the vault, uneven bars and balance beam team scores, while tying the floor score. Finally, the senior class helped Michigan to six team scores of 198 or better with two in 2022.
• Brenner is a WCGA regular season All-American and a two-time First Team All-Big Ten honoree for the Wolverines. The Maple Grove, Minn. native was also named a two-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree and a 2021 Big Ten Distinguished Scholar. Brenner made an outstanding comeback from injury at the 2021 national championship to compete on the uneven bars and ignite the Michigan lineup.
• Heiskell is a three-time WCGA All-American and a WCGA regular season All-American. She was also named a First Team All-Big Ten honoree and to the All-Big Ten Championship Team in 2021. Heiskell was the anchor on beam at the 2021 national championship, scoring a 9.925 to secure the U-M win.
• Wojcik will go down as one of the best gymnasts to compete at Michigan. She is a four-time WCGA All-American, an eight-time WCGA regular season All-American, an individual national champion on the balance beam, a regional champion on floor, a three-time individual Big Ten champion, and a three-time First Team All-Big Ten honoree. She is also the Michigan record holder with 21 all-around scores of 39.600 or better, a 14-time Big Ten Gymnast of the Week. Finally, Wojcik has four perfect 10.0s in her career and was a CoSIDA Academic Second Team All-American in 2021.
• Michigan moves to No. 3 in the rankings in week nine of the 2022 season. U-M is the No. 1 team on the vault and floor, while ranking second on uneven bars and eighth on the balance beam.
