DES MOINES, Iowa -- The University of Michigan women's track and field team opened up the first of three days of competition at the Drake Relays on Thursday (April 28).
In the lone results of the day for the Wolverines, Samantha Hastie led the way in the unseeded section of the 1,500 meters with a third-place finish in a career-best 4:26.35, improving by nearly a second. Alice Hill also finished top-10 in ninth with a 4:28.97.
Friday, the busiest day of the weekend for the Wolverines, begins at 11:30 a.m. CT with an early session of action. An evening session begins just before 5:30 p.m. CT.
