
Windemuller to Represent Michigan at NCAA Championships

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Kayla Windemuller of the University of Michigan women's cross country team will travel to Charlottesville, Va., to race against the best in the nation at the NCAA Cross Country Championships on Saturday (Nov. 18). The race will begin at 10:20 a.m. and will air live on ESPNU.Â
Notes
• Windemuller earned her way to the NCAA Championships as one of the top four individuals in the regional race from non-qualifying teams.
• She placed eighth overall at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional on Nov. 10 with a time of 20:35.7 to land on the Great Lakes All-Region team as one of the top 25 overall runners.
• The team leader all season for the Maize and Blue, Windemuller paced the team in all six meets she has competed in this season.
• Windemuller will be making her third appearance in the NCAA Championships. In 2022, the graduate student posted a time of 21:48.8 in Stillwater, Okla.
• A model of consistency, Windemuller has finished in the top 20 overall in every meet this season including her last trip to Charlotteville, Va., when she captured 19th overall at the XC-23 Pre-Nationals on Oct. 14.
