Lightning Forces Suspension of Wolverines' Saturday Game Against Rutgers

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Lightning in the fourth inning Saturday (April 15) forced the suspension of the University of Michigan baseball team's game against Rutgers at Bainton Field.
The game will resume on Sunday (April 16) at 10:30 a.m. at Bainton Field. The series finale, origially scheduled at 1 p.m., will follow approximately 30 minutes after the completeion of the suspended game. Both games will be streamed live on B1G+.
The contest will resume tied at 6 in the top of the fourth inning with two outs. Jonathan Kim will start on first base with Joe Longo batting with a fresh count against Garrett French. The game was halted shortly after Ted Burton hit a three-run homer to knot the game and Kim singled.
