Voit Invited to 2023 USA Baseball Collegiate National Training Camp

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- University of Michigan baseball freshman Mitch Voit was invited to the 2023 USA Baseball Collegiate National Training Camp in Cary, N.C., the organization announced on Wednesday (June 7).
Voit joins a premiere group of 55 other non-draft-eligible college players. The group will play four intrasquad games from June 25-28 in Cary, N.C. A final 26-man team will be named following those games for a friendly series against Chinese Taipei and Japan from June 30-July 12.
Voit was second on the team in home runs with seven and hit .267 after starting 51 games at third base. He also made 19 appearances on the mound with one start with 25 strikeouts. He led the team in ERA at 3.25 and was second in WHIP at 1.19 across all pitchers this season. Voit had a record of 4-1 and earned five saves.
Voit's first game will be held at the National Training Complex in Cary, N.C., in the Stars and Stripes series on June 25 at 3 p.m. ET -- with the three more games to follow at the National Training Complex over the following days.
