DEXTER, Mich. -- The University of Michigan men's cross country team closed out the regular season on Friday (Oct. 25) at the EMU Fall Classic at the Hudson Mills Metropark.
The Wolverines raced against EMU, Michigan State, Eastern Michigan, Oakland and Chicago State and saw five top-10 finishes.
Henry Johnson was the lead runner for Michigan, finishing fourth with a time of 15:07.3. His time was 39 seconds faster than the 15:46.7 he ran at last year's EMU Fall Classic.
The next runner to finish for the Maize and Blue was Riley Flemington, coming in seventh (15:17.1). Aiden Sullivan finished eighth (15:22.6), Akili Parekh finished ninth (15:23.1) and Nolan Clark finished 10th (15:23.4).
U-M will open postseason competition next Friday (Nov. 1) at the Big Ten Championships hosted by Illinois in Savoy, Ill.
