
Michigan to Kick Off Four-Week Road Swing at No. 16 Minnesota

ANN ARBOR, Mich -- The No. 11-ranked University of Michigan women's gymnastics team (3-4, 2-1 Big Ten) will kick off a four-week road swing at No. 16 Minnesota (7-0, 3-0 Big Ten) on Saturday (Feb. 10) at 4 p.m. CST at Maturi Pavilion.

• The Wolverines head into week five ranked 11th nationally while moving up to fifth on floor exercise after tying a program-best 49.750 against Michigan State on Sunday (Feb. 4). Michigan also ranks 10th on uneven bars, 12th on balance beam and 18th on vault to remain inside the top 20 in all four events. Individually, Sierra Brooks ranks sixth on floor, 17th on beam and 11th in the all-around, while Gabby Wilson ranks 19th on floor and 23rd in the all-around.
• Wilson earned her third perfect 10 on floor against Michigan State. She anchored the rotation and put together a thrilling performance after posting two other scores of 9.900 or better on the floor this season.
• Michigan's floor squad tied a program-best 49.750 against Michigan State at Crisler Center. Seniors Carly Bauman and Jenna Mulligan led off the rotation tying career-best 9.925s before Naomi Morrison and Brooks put together back-to-back 9.950s. Wilson capped off the rotation with her third career perfect 10 in the event.
• Brooks continues to impress, as she won both the uneven bars and the all-around title against Michigan State. She won her third straight beam and floor titles at Nebraska in week four, while earning the all-around title and first uneven bars title. This season, Brooks already has broken the program all-around record with a 39.850 against Stanford and has scored a perfect 10 on floor, also scoring 9.975s on vault and twice on beam. Brooks has been named the Big Ten Gymnast of the Week twice this season and seven times in her career.
• U-M wrapped up a five-part series, Michigan Made, which was an all-access look at the months leading up to the Wolverines' 2024 campaign. Weaving interviews with coaches and student-athletes with behind-the-scenes practice footage and a look at life outside the gym the five-episode series gives an unparalleled look into the historic program and those committed to continuing the winning legacy of Michigan Women's Gymnastics.
