
Felty Throws for No. 8 Shot Put Mark in Program History in Clyde Hart Invite Finale

WACO, Texas -- The University of Michigan men's track and field team closed out the weekend at the Clyde Hart Invitational on Saturday (March 23) at the Clyde Hart Track and Field Stadium.
Lawrence Gilliam ran a season-best time of 48.73 seconds in the 400-meter dash to finish 14th and Christian Pulselli finished 18th with a time of 49.30.
The Maize and Blue went 1-3-5 in the 800-meter run, with Camden Law finishing first (1:50.99), Henry Johnson finishing third (1:51.15), and Kepler Huntress finishing fifth (1:52.77).
Tianhao Wei posted a personal best and finished third in the triple jump with a mark of 14.98m (49 feet, 1.75 inches), the No. 15 mark in the NCAA. Wei's mark is 0.03m shy of the No. 10 mark in program history.
Aiden Felty saw a personal-best mark in the shot put for the second straight week, throwing for 18.38m (60-3.75). Felty's mark is No. 11 in the NCAA and No. 8 in program history. Zane Forist finished seventh in the event with a mark of 16.94m (55-7).
U-M will remain on the road next weekend, splitting the team between the Stanford Invitational in Palo Alto, Calif., and the Battle on the Bayou hosted by LSU in Baton Rouge, La., on Friday and Saturday (March 29-20).
