Michigan to Participate in Fort Myers Tip-Off

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- The University of Michigan women's basketball team will participate in the 2024 Elevance Health Women's Fort Myers Tip-Off. This year's event will be held Nov. 28-30 at Suncoast Credit Union Arena on the campus of Florida Southwestern State College.
Michigan will participate in the Shell Division, joined by Belmont, Virginia Tech and Davidson. U-M will face Belmont on Nov. 29 in the first round. The games the following day will be based on results from the first round. Michigan and Belmont have not faced each other since 2008, a 64-60 Michigan win.
Travel packages for fans looking to join the Wolverines at the Elevance Health Women's Fort Myers Tip-Off will be available on July 16 at womensfortmyerstipoff.com/travel. The Westin Cape Coral and Marina Village and the Marriott Sanibel Harbour are the event's host hotels, giving fans the opportunity to stay where the teams stay and experience resort life to the fullest.
Game times and broadcast distribution will be announced at a later date.
