• Michigan will play three of its next four games at U-M Soccer Stadium.
• Notre Dame moved up to No. 9 in this week's poll, marking Michigan's first ranked opponent of the season. U-M has 50 wins all-time against top-25 foes. U-M faced a pair of top-10 teams in No. 5 Virginia and No. 4 Penn State last season, coming away with ties in both contests. • Michigan is 5-13-1 all-time against Notre Dame after recording a 1-0 victory in South Bend last season (Sept. 7, 2023), getting a goal from Gabrielle Prych in the 58th minute to record the victory.
• U-M and Ball State are facing off for the first time in program history, with the Cardinals marking Michigan's lone Mid-American Conference opponent of the season.
• A pair of Wolverines made their season debuts last weekend, with Prych and Aniyah League each getting a starting nod in Michigan's contest at Colorado (Aug. 25).
• Michigan has a split week to end the non-conference portion of the season next week, heading to Iowa State on Sept. 5 before hosting Alabama on Sept. 8.
